Education or Psychology

I’m having trouble deciding between two majors in school, education and psychology. Which field has a bigger demand?

Dear Cindy,
I could Google the answer, but, unfortunately, I’m just as lazy as you are. You’re just gonna have to settle for what’s already in the ol Strawboss’ noggin.

Lots people ask which career is in demand, which jobs are the most secure? But those answers are based on statistics, and your heart is bad at math. Supporting yourself with a financially rewarding career is important, but it’s not most important. There’s really no amount money worth being miserable while you earn it. So the question you should really be asking is, “What do I enjoy more, education or psychology?” You will spend more waking hours at work than you will with your family, so be sure your choice is worth that sacrifice.
